Riggs
An update from Riggs’ family (liter 1) in his new home!
Riggs came home when he was 9 weeks & 6 days old and he was the perfect addition to our family. He caught on so quickly to rules and training of the house. We have a lot of goofy nicknames for our little buddy: Riggers, Rigger-butt, Wiggly-butt, Riggaroo, Puppers, Poopers, and Handsome. He is sweet, wiggly, and silly and does the cutest little dance when he's waiting for his food.
Riggs is social and loves to meet new people - he'll come right up behind you and push you in the butt with his nose or walk right between your legs and stop for scratches. He loves to give paw-to-handshakes and hugs. We have a full house of kids, little dogs, and cats and he does well with all of them. He tries very hard to be gentle but still needs lots of reminders that he is bigger than everyone else.
His favorite human foods are blueberries, bananas, yogurt, carrots, cheese, cottage cheese, and apples … I'm pretty sure the only thing he refused to eat so far is celery. He is patient and is very good to not beg for food or counter surf.
He is social and loves to be by us wherever we go. He is kennel trained and does very well with staying off the furniture, unless he helps to tuck in our 5-year old. He jumps right up in bed with her to help say goodnight!
Riggs isn't afraid of much, except vacuums. Otherwise, he's very curious and not bothered by much of anything! He loves his squeaky and crinkling toys, car rides, spending time in the shop, new snow, treats, cuddles, kisses, meeting new people, and playing outside with his little dog-sisters and the kids!
He is such a good boy and we're so happy to have him!
